Women Today Conference 2025: Empowered Paths
Held on March 29th at Movenpick Hotel Nairobi, the Women Today Conference 2025 marked International Women’s Month with a dynamic gathering of visionary women leaders, professionals, and changemakers.
With the theme “Empowered Paths,” the conference featured inspiring conversations on leadership, innovation, advocacy, and breaking barriers across sectors. Highlights included a keynote by Mary-Ann Musangi, and three engaging panel discussions featuring influential voices like Maryanne Karanja, Catherine Muraga, Dr. Fiona Asonga, Eng. Jane Mutilili, Adelle Onyango, Liz Aluvanze, and Cynthia Mwangi.

International Women's Day 2023
In 2023, we hosted a vibrant celebration dinner and networking event to mark International Women’s Month. The evening featured a compelling panel discussion focused on the theme of personal branding, bringing together two powerhouse women in business: Eva Muraya, CEO of BSD Group and Co-Founder of the 100 Most Loved Brands by Women study in Kenya, and Joanne Mwangi-Yelbert, Founder and CEO of Professional Marketing Services (PMS) Group. The session was moderated by Christine Amira, whose engaging style helped unpack the depth of the topic.
The conversation centered around the importance of authenticity and consistency in building a personal brand.


International Women's Day 2022
In 2022, we hosted a remarkable event at FairAcres Boutique Hotel in Karen, centered around empowering conversations that resonated deeply with young professionals. One of the key highlights was a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Dealing with Fear Among Young Women and Building Trust in the Workplace,” led by Rita Kavashe, the Managing Director of ISUZU East Africa, and skillfully moderated by Christine Amira. This session sparked meaningful dialogue around courage, leadership, and navigating workplace dynamics.
Another engaging panel focused on “Fostering Inclusion in the Workplace and Enhancing Talent Retention in Today’s Organizations.” This discussion was led by Lawrence Githinji, Managing Director of KONE East Africa.
